The Puzzle by Abby Daniels
Some projects carry a meaning far beyond the finished product.
We were approached by Patricia Daniels to produce a CD in memory of her daughter, Abby, who sadly passed away from sarcoma on the 9th July 2026.
“The Puzzle” is an original song sung by Abby, with lyrics written by her and music by David Wilson. Abby wrote the song after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma, using the image of a jigsaw puzzle to express how the future she had carefully pieced together had suddenly been disrupted.
Despite everything she endured, Abby returned to dancing, performing and teaching. Her recording of “The Puzzle” preserves both her voice and a deeply personal part of her story.
Working closely with Patricia, we replicated the original recording onto CD and produced a fully printed digisleeve. The packaging features photographs of Abby alongside the lyrics and the story behind the song.
The CDs were prepared for an event raising money for Sarcoma UK, helping Patricia share Abby’s music while supporting research into bone and soft tissue cancer.

The fundraising continues through the Raise the Curtain: Featuring Abby and Friends JustGiving campaign. It was created to celebrate the shows and songs that influenced Abby’s life while raising money for research and clinical trials through Sarcoma UK.
