This 12-inch mahogany effect vinyl was produced for a release by Shy FX & KINGH, bringing together distinctive coloured vinyl and dark, atmospheric artwork.
The record features a warm blend of amber and brown tones, with darker lines flowing through the vinyl to create an appearance similar to natural woodgrain. It’s an unusual finish that gives the vinyl pressing plenty of character while working naturally with the visual style of the release.
Marble Effect Vinyl Stands Out
One of the best things about this marble effect is that the pattern forms differently during production. No two records will look exactly the same, meaning every copy purchased is technically a one-off. The music and packaging remain consistent, but the pattern running through each record will be unique to that particular pressing.
This natural variation makes marbled vinyl especially appealing to collectors. It adds something personal to the physical format and gives fans a copy that is genuinely their own.
The mahogany colour works particularly well alongside the predominantly black outer sleeve. The artwork features mirrored figures, distorted imagery and subtle warmer tones that are picked up by the amber and brown colours in the vinyl. When the record is removed from its sleeve, the contrast immediately draws attention to the marble finish.
Two full-colour printed centre labels continue the same imagery and colour palette onto the record itself. Carrying the artwork across the sleeve and labels helps the complete release feel consistent, with each element working as part of the same visual idea.
